Best NYC Cake Smash

I love seeing my newborns for their first birthday cake smash session. Jack was one of those babies that I had met when he was only a week old for his newborn session. I love going back to see families and see how much their little ones have grown since their newborn shoot. Jack definitely looked like the little guy from his newborn session!

Like a lot of little ones, Jack was curious about his cake, and engaged for a short period of time before he decided to move on to bigger and better things! I usually have a period of 5-10 minutes where I’m able to capture all of the shots that I need, before the babies get restless and are done. To be honest, I adore the crying shots, and Jack gave us the most perfect cry face. I think these make for the funniest and sweetest memories. Just imagine him showing that photo to his future girlfriend and wife! 😉
