Top Ridgewood NJ Newborn Session

Miles was one of those babies that you wanted to keep photographing all day. Aside from snoozing during his entire session, he had the most beautiful skin tones. Any newborn photographer swoones when a baby has beautiful skin tones.

I’ve been photographing his family since his sister, Kira’s 6 month sitter session. Their mom had met me after Kira was a newborn, and always dreamed of having professional newborn photos done. Luckily we were able to capture Kira’s 6 month and one year cake smash sessions. It was so nice to be back to be able to capture this special time for them.

I absolutely love capturing details during a session- their little hands, feet, eyelashes, ears, and all of their other sweet features.

Miles was also quite the happy guy during his session. He gave me all these little smiles that I was able to capture on camera. It doesn’t always happen during a session, but I love when it does. Newborns don’t develop a social smile until they are around 2 months of age, but he was clearly happy about something the day I came!
