Colorful Rainbow Cake Smash

The rainbow cake banner is one of my favorites to use. I love that it’s so versatile and can be used for girls or boys. The colors aren’t too bright or overbearing and it makes for such a fun session!

It took Nicholas some time to feel comfortable and warm up to his cake. Luckily big brother Benjamin was there to help cheer him on and get him going. Mom said that Nicholas looks up to his big brother, so having him there was super helpful. Shortly after, we were able to have Ben step away from the cake smash so Nicholas could be the star of the show.

It’s always so bittersweet when clients finish their trio of sessions. I photographed Ben’s newborn, sitter session, and now his cake smash session. It’s so nice to have watched him grow from a newborn until now. It’s amazing how fast the year goes by, especially with a lot of 2020 spent in quarantine.
