Best Brooklyn Cake Smash Session

Little Lou was actually quite nervous in the beginning of his cake smash. He wasn’t sure what how to feel about it. It took him some time to get used to but once he started playing around with the frosting he went to town.

It wasn’t until big brother Winston came in to make him laugh that he really hit the town running. Big brother Winston was very funny, making noises and playing peek-a-boo. You can clearly see on Louis’s face that he thought his brother was the funniest person ever!

Louis’s mom and I have know each other for quite some time, having gone to residency together. She is also a pediatrician. I had mentioned a colorful idea I had for his cake smash and she was super excited about it! I bought the pom pom garland from Crate and Barrel kids, and the bib from MudPie. It came together exactly as I had envisioned.
