Diya’s family have been clients of mine since big bro Deven’s newborn session several years ago. I love when clients continue to come back for me to capture their growing family. Diya’s mom was so excited to announce that they’d be welcoming a sweet baby girl.

Sometimes I wonder if cooperation during a newborn shoot is “genetic” (I totally know it isn’t! but I joke about this often) as I find that the second sibling cooperates like the first sibling for the newborn and cake smash shoots. Diya was the most amazing little sleeper and snoozed right through all of the poses I placed her in. Not a peep from this little girl at all! We even had to wake her up to remind her she needed to feed.

Diya and her big brother Deven are clones of their mom. Her mom told me that the running family joke is that the only thing they both have in common with dad is their blood type!

I can’t wait to come back in the summer to capture Diya’s milestone session when she’s sitting up unsupported. These sessions are such a fun in-between capture after the newborn stage and before the one year cake smash.
