Top Kew Gardens Cake Smash Session

Luke was one of those super focused cake smash babies! He was completely immersed in his cake, loving every lick of frosting. Babies are all so different during the cake smash session; some are scared, some very serious, and some happy. It’s always fun to see how their little personalities will manifest during the shoot. Luke did a great job during his cake smash and stayed focused throughout.

I bring a full wardrobe of outfits for parents to choose from- for the pre-cake smash portraits, as well as the cake smash. Luke’s mom chose this cute blue romper. Since Luke was already walking at the time of his session, the white bowl I brought helped keep him in place. I discovered this trick from another photographer and it works like a charm! Usually the baby will stay In place for a short time in the bowl before realizing that they can escape. It’s such a cute prop that adds dimension to the photos.
