Top NYC Newborn Photographer

It was so great to see this family for a second time as they welcomed their newest addition, baby Reeva. The last time I saw them was big sister Surya’s newborn session a few years ago. I love seeing older children that I’ve photographed become a big ‘sister’ or ‘brother.’ I remember Surya’s newborn photoshoot as if it were yesterday.

Her parents chose this new lilac backdrop I bought recently, as well as cream for their daughter’s newborn shoot. I loved the purple on Reeva.

Big sis Surya was over the moon to have a little sister. Sibling photos can be challenging when the oldest sibling is under the age of 3. Some siblings have no interest in being photographed with their family’s newest addition, and understandably so. They are usually going through an adjustment, transitioning from the only child to sharing attention. Surya absolutely loved her solo shots and photos with her little sister. We got some amazing sibling and family photos.
