Top Plainview Newborn Session

It’s such an honor when a family asks you to come back to capture another important milestone for their family. I photographed big brother Drew’s cake smash several years back before the pandemic started. It was so great to see them, and to see how his personality has developed since I saw him last.

Little sister Zoey had tough shoes to fill, as big brother Drew did wonderful during his cake smash. Zoey put on an A+ performance for her newborn session. Mom and dad had warned me that Drew doesn’t like taking photos and may not cooperate. Children his age are likely to not cooperate for a newborn shoot, so I always am pleasantly surprised when they do. Typically I try to grab their attention by making funny noises/faces or telling them something is on my head. For Drew, he laughed when I told him that pickles were flying out of my camera. It certainly got his attention! Later on during the day he had asked me where the pickles were. Oops! 😉
