Top Roslyn Baby Girl Session

Catherine was one gorgeous baby to photograph! She slept so peacefully during her session and posed perfectly. Mom picked out light pink for her solo shots. I also brought along this brand new purple drop and did some shots of her on it, which mom ended up loving! She said she loved it even more than the pink color she had initially picked out 😉

Big brother Leo and big sis Elizabeth were beyond excited to take photos with their baby sister. Leo and Elizabeth are 5 and 6 respectively which makes big sibling photos super easy. There is a bit more variety I can get from sibling photos when the older sibling is able to safely hold baby without parental assistance. As you can imagine, older siblings are a lot easier to follow directions, which makes family photos a lot quicker. Additionally, parents don’t need to hold the older child as they would with a 2 or 3 year old. I love the cohesiveness of including older siblings in family photos.

I met Catherine’s family almost 4 years ago when I did Leo’s one year cake smash shoot. Now he is a big brother and super chatty! It’s so great seeing families as they expand. I love when I see cake smash clients for a newborn session following, and seeing the magical role they play as a big sibling.
