Best Port Washington Newborn Photo Session

Michael’s mom reached out to me a few weeks before his due date, and she was lucky to grab my last newborn spot! She said it was serendipitous as she also snagged the last maternity spot from her maternity photographer! She had found me through a friend whose newborn I had captured just a few weeks prior.

Michael was a gem to photography- he was nice and sleepy for me, which is what I love best! Big brother Alex was so excited for his new baby brother. I love when I get to photograph older siblings during the newborn session. They cooperate so easily. I also love being able to do a standing big sibling shot with dad’s arms around big brother and baby. This is one of my favorite shots to capture and I rarely get the opportunity to do so!

Little did I realize until after the session that Michael’s middle name is ‘bear.’ I’m so glad I brought along my grey teddy bear to do the “tucked in” pose with Michael and the little bear underneath the blanket.
