Top NYC Cake Smash Session
I had worked with Noa’s family before, when I photographed her older sister Romy’s cake smash session. Noa’s mom messaged me saying she wanted to do a lavender color for Noa, since we had done a pink color for big sis Romy. Typically I provide the cake and outfit for each of the cake smash sessions. Noa’s mom had bought a cake from Nine Cakes for Romy’s session. I normally provide the cake for sessions, unless there is a food allergy, but when I saw the cake she had brought I knew it would be perfect for a cake smash. She had also bought super cute velveteen pink bloomers to match.
When Noa’s mom said she wanted to do a purple color, using a cake from Nine Cakes and her own outfit, I knew it would be nothing short of perfect. Everything fit well with my classic and timeless aesthetic. After Romy’s cake smash, I happened to snag the last pair of velveteen bloomers (which you may have seen on my blog already), and have been using them for my sessions ever since. Unfortunately Noa’s bloomers were sold out, but I managed to find a very similar one online. I can’t wait to use these again, as I love how they paired with the cake and lavender banner!
