Top Connecticut Newborn Session

Layla was a dream baby! She looked like a real life doll. This little one slept right through her entire session. We were able to finish her entire session before she needed her next feed. That rarely happens!

Her mom chose pink and cream for her newborn session. As part of my Luxe package I aim to do 3 different colored fabric backdrops. For Layla, her mom chose a medium pink color, soft blush pink and a cream color. Her skin tones matched so well with the colors mom chose.

The most special part of the session were family photos. Layla’s great grandmother Linda flew in from Florida to meet her first great grandchild. Layla’s grandmother had arranged the shoot as a gift for her daughter and requested a generational picture. I’ve done 3 generations in the past but never 4! After I took this shot I knew this was one of my all-time favorite images. Such a special moment and memory to be able to capture for this family. I have a casual photo of myself, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother when I was a few months old, and referenced how we were all “posed” together to create this shot.
