Top Roslyn Cake Smash Session

This was such a fun session with Summer! Mom had an idea for something different for her Golden star cake smash session. Summer turns 1 on the first of the month and celebrates her golden birthday. Mom thought it would be super sweet to do something “golden” to celebrate the occasion. I love getting creative with cake smash session while keeping things super simple with a cake, banner and cute outfit for baby.

We first started off with these golden ONE letters which I haven’t used for a long time. I noticed babies would knock down the letters and it was hard to get them all standing. I had to pull them out for this session because the gold glitter was perfect!

And how adorable is this gold star cake which matches my gold star backdrop. I paired it with a gold glitter 1 cake topper. Summer was a little hesitant at first during her session but gave us some great smiles at the end. What made her smile? A white piece of paper towel! It’s funny how kids love things that aren’t exactly toys. Sometimes you have to break out of your shell and go with it when it comes to babies.
