Maya was a rockstar at her newborn session. Her parents wanted to keep it very girly with the purple and mauve backdrops for her solo shots. I don’t blame them, as they’re used to having a boy! Maya did amazing for her session, I don’t think we even had to feed her during the shoot and she slept right through.

Maya’s parents chose my Luxe package so we got a great variety of images from her session. Big brother James was hesitant about doing sibling photos, but we got beautiful shots of him during the family portion of the session. I love all of the smiles he gave us!

Parent silhouette photos are great as wall art and make a beautiful album spread. What I love about them, in addition to their simplicity, is that they capture the emotions of having a new baby in a different way than the straight forward facing family shots
