Best Manhattan Newborn Photography Session

Olivia’s in-home Manhattan newborn photography session was extra special for me. Olivia’s dad is my first cousin. Olivia is the first great grandchild on my side of the family. I’m so happy my grandmother became a great grandmother! I was so excited and honored when my cousin’s wife reached out for a photo session for their daughter.

This little gal was SUPER smiley! You can see her little smiles in the photos above, and I was able to capture yet another, that her mom chose for her final gallery.

Olivia’s mom wanted to incorporate her wedding veil into her daughter’s photo session. I always place a wrap over baby to get additional variety from the poses that I do. The veil was a perfect substitute for the wraps I normally use. I loved how the wrap was sheer and had a lacy edge, it looks so pretty and perfect for the set of photos I did agains the white backdrop. I love when clients have unique requests, that allow me to get into my creative element!
