Best Manhattan Star Cake Smash

It was so much fun to photograph Jax’s cake smash. His mom wanted to go with a multi-color theme and we used one of my favorite banners- this multi tone blue and green happy birthday sign. Jax’s mom picked out a star cake with colors to match the banner, and opted for a simple pair of dark denim jeans to complete the look.

Jax had a blast at his cake smash session. He loved the frosting way more than he liked his cake and kept putting his hands in the cake and licking his fingers. It was so nice to see him and his family, as I met them during his newborn shoot.
Jax had the most platinum blonde hair I have ever seen on a one year old! He had the same exact hair during his newborn session. You can refer back to his newborn shoot here. Do you think he looks like his newborn photos? I certainly do!
