There’s something truly magical about the 6–8 month stage. It’s that perfect little window where your baby is full of personality, curious about the world, and beginning to show off their giggles. This age is a favorite of mine to photograph. Livie’s session was everything I love and more about capturing this age.

At this age, babies are typically sitting up with support (or completely on their own!), which gives us so many adorable pose possibilities. We kept things simple and timeless with soft, neutral backdrops and cozy textures that complemented her sweet personality. A vintage wooden bowl, a cute little baby cradle and bed, and some little roses to compliment her outfit.

And can’t forget those eyes! They are the first thing her mom says everyone notices, and I noticed them as well. Big, bright, and full of curiosity. Whether she was studying the camera or showing off one of her sweet grins, her eyes sparkled in every frame.
