Aliza was a dream baby to photograph! Her mom and I have known each other since high school. I photographed big sister Autumn’s newborn and cake smash sessions as well.

Aliza’s mom contacted me after Aliza was born, and I was so excited that I was able to fit her in. Her mom chose a pretty yellow fabric to use for her session, since she wanted to do something different than Autumn’s shoot. I often have many parents ask me to change up their second baby’s shoot, especially if they are the same gender. I always tell parents that it’s not an issue at all. My skillset is constantly evolving and I have learned new poses and photography techniques over the years. I’ll always refer to the older child’s session to make sure I bring different colored fabric backdrops as well.

Aliza was such an easy baby to photograph. Her session flew by. Her older sister Autumn loved watching me pose and photograph her baby sis, and even asked to take a shot herself. I love including older siblings as my “assistant” so they feel that they are involved in the session.
