Best Queens Newborn Session

Ariella was such a sleepy baby during her newborn session! She opened her eyes for a split second and I was able to capture an “awake” shot. The open eye shot was one of mom’s favorite images. In general it’s hard to get awake shots of newborns as I need them to be very still in order to focus on them, and have the correct light placement. Her complexion reminded me of Sleeping Beauty and she looked so beautiful on all of the colors mom picked out for her session.

Ariella’s mom reached out after she was born. Occasionally I have last minute openings in my schedule and I am able to fit babies in for a newborn session. Luckily I was able to fit Ariella in for her session. I’m so happy I was able to do Ariella’s newborn shoot; she was such an amazing baby to photograph. I encourage parents to reach out well in advance of their due date as my calendar for newborn sessions fills up approximately 2-3 months in advance. I can only take a limited number of clients per month.
