Rockville Center Newborn Session

Baby DJ slept so peacefully throughout his newborn session. Mom only had to feed him at the beginning of the session and then when he was done! He didn’t awake at all, even with big brother Tony barking at me. Tony was happy when he was able to get a solo shot (or two!) with his new brother. Small dogs are easier to incorporate for both my bucket and my silhouette poses. Tony did great for his sibling shots.

Mom and dad chose teal and white for his Rockville Center newborn session. DJ has olive skin tone and the teal looked perfect with his skin tones. One of my favorite colors to photograph on is white as it flatters every baby’s skin tones and looks so angelic. I always recommend white when parents are unsure what to choose. In addition to flattering babies and making for classic portraits, they make for great wall art in anyone’s home regardless of their decor.

At the end of the session we were able to get some cute little awake faces. DJ even winked at me 😉 I wonder if it was his way of saying he had a great time at his newborn session!
