Blue and Gold Star Cake Smash

Dylan sure was one happy baby! I’m so glad his mom went with my lead and decided to go with the blue and gold star banner. When I asked her which banner she wanted she replied ” whichever you think is best, we’re just here to have fun!” and I loved that. Dylan had dark olive skin tones and I knew the gold/blue banner would be a perfect contrast, in addition to the cute denim overalls she picked out for him.

Talk about a serious cake smasher. Dylan was so focused on his cake and kept putting his hands in the frosting, and then fistfuls to his mouth. He just happily ate his cake while he stared at us trying to entertain him. The behind the scenes of us trying to make him smile was probably worth recording! When his nana came onto FaceTime, that’s when Dylan cracked a whole bunch of smiles. His mom said she is the only one that gets him to laugh, and he laughs every time. None of my silly antics cracked him, until nana came on! And of course, Dylan gave us the best smiles!
